Cutler Hall Structural Analysis and Repair—
Ohio
University
- Built in 1819, Cutler Hall is the oldest building erected for higher education west of the Allegheny Mountains and north of the Ohio River
- Listed as a National Historic Landmark since 1966
- Performed a study to determine source of a moisture problem in the basement
- Determined that the damage was from water in the soil around the building seeping through the sandstone walls and plaster

Alden Library Structural Analysis and Repair—

- Original construction during the late 1960's and early 1970's
- Faulty construction determined to be responsible for water seeping through the patio, edge beam, and the north side foundation walls into the fourth floor
- The waterproofing membrane above the structural slab was replaced, and waterproofing on the exterior wall below the patio to the third floor was installed
- Brick patio and stairs were removed during construction; these were reinstalled at the completion of the project
