Included single-span laminated timber arch bridge with wooden deck

Design for several different bridges over a ten-year period
Included design of three-span timber bridge across ravine
Others included bridges on various nature trails

Caesar Creek State Park—ODNR

  • $600,000 project
  • Construction observation services for boat launch facility
  • Included waterline, sanitary services, concrete ramp and floating dock

Alum Creek State Park—ODNR

  • $2.7 million project
  • 3.000 ft. of beach and 1,920-vehicle parking lot

Deer Creek State Park—ODNR

  • Designed 1,700-vehicle parking lot
  • $700,000 project included catch basins and storm sewer system

Chestnut Ridge Metropolitan Park—Franklin County Metro Parks

  • Designed entrance drive and parking lot
  • Park features include 486 acres of woodlands, fields, hiking trails and picnic areas

West Spillway Replacement Grand Lake St. Mary’s—ODNR

  • $4.6 million project to design new spillway
  • 500-ft-long concrete ogee spillway
  • 80-ft. prestressed box beam bridge over spillway
  • Also included concrete floodwall, sidewalk, dumped rock facing, parking lot and access road

Blacklick Woods Metropolitan Park Golf Course—Franklin County Metro Parks

  • Design of four cart paths over Blacklick Creek and Pond
  • Arched steel beam bridges with oak plank deck on stub abutments

McConnellsville Boat Launch/Parking Facility—ODNR

  • Checked shop drawings and provided field inspection on this $1M project on the Muskingum River in southeastern Ohio
  • New facility features a two-lane concrete boat launching ramp and parking facilities, new public restrooms and a lighted shelter building.
  • All facilities are handicapped accessible and are designed to withstand flooding.
